Features of CO2 laser cutting machine

The CO2 laser cutting machine is a non-metal laser cutting machine. It relies on the laser power supply to drive the laser tube to emit light. Through the refraction of 3-5 mirrors, the light is condensed to the focusing mirror on the laser head to converge the light into one point. The high temperature will instantly sublime the material into gas, which will be sucked away by the exhaust fan, thus achieving the purpose of cutting.

The cutting speed of CO2 laser cutting machine can reach 10m/min, and the maximum speed can reach 70m/min. Non-contact cutting, the cutting edge is little affected by heat, there is basically no thermal deformation of the workpiece, and the collapse of the material formed during punching and shearing is completely avoided. Generally, the cutting seam does not require secondary processing.

The wavelength of CO2 laser is 10.6um, and the fiber laser is 1.06um. The former is relatively easy to be absorbed by non-metals and can cut non-metallic materials such as wood, acrylic, PP, and organic glass with high quality.
