CO2 Laser Cutting Machine Fault Inspection

Today, when laser cutting machines and laser engraving machines are widely used, customers not only pay attention to the quality of the machines, but also learn more about how to use them efficiently. So let's share more knowledge about CO2 laser machine.

Trouble phenomenon: The main power switch indicator does not light up, the main board LED indicator does not light up, the panel does not display, the motor drive indicator light does not light up, and there is a buzzing sound inside the machine.

Cause of issue: The main power supply is in poor contact, the DC power supply is damaged, the control panel is faulty, the motor drive is faulty, and the machine is faulty.

Inspection Method: 

1. Visually inspect the indicator light on the machine and observe the fault location. The main power switch indicator does not light up, check whether the 220V input power supply is in poor contact or the power supply insurance is blown. The main board LED light does not light up or the control panel does not display, check DC 5V, 3.3V，whether the  power output is normal . The motor driver indicator is off, check whether the 36V power output is normal. When checking whether the power supply is normal, you should disconnect any power output lead to test to determine whether the power supply or the power supply component is faulty. .

2. All the displays are normal. If you can hear the obvious buzzing sound, it must be a mechanical failure. Check whether the beam and the laser head is smooth and whether there is any obstruction.

3. Check if the motor shaft is broken and the synchronization wheel is loose.

4. Check whether the wires or plugs connected to the drive block (driver) on the main board are in good contact.

5. Check whether the wire connector from the drive block (driver) to the motor is disconnected.
